Donor Resources Territory Representative
The Greer Group is seeking a Donor Resources Territory Representative for a local Blood Bank Center. This is a temporary to hire position.
The Territory Representative is a Sales Representative who solicits groups to sponsor blood drives. The representative communicates the need for their sponsorship as a community service that meets the community`s need for blood donations.
Establish relationships with blood donors and sponsors in assigned territory.
Recruits, educates, motivates, and retains sponsoring organizations.
Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in performance of duties.
The primary mission is to help blood donors fulfill their desire to become benefactors of community service through blood donation while providing exemplary customer service.
Provide information, incentives, and logistical support to the donor group contacts and establishing new business within assigned territory.
Ensures that all contacts have been notified of event six (6) weeks in advance by telephone, visitation or mail. Follow-up correspondence may be electronically communicated (via e-mail or facsimile). Resume subsequent notifications at 2-week intervals and 48 hours prior to event.
Organize meetings with sponsor contacts, committees, and/or employees to educate them. Personally attend blood drives as possible.
Ability to successfully recruit new Sponsors (with a result of a minimum of 15 completed units per new Sponsor.)
Maintain a standard percentage of accuracy
Work with all members of the Donor Resources Team to achieve a calendar fill rate of 100% booked for the period covering the next six weeks; 75% the next three months; 60% the next six months.
Active participation in the recruitment of all Special Community Blood drive events.
High School diploma or GED AND 2 plus years of college or 3 years of blood banking experience or 3 years of proven outside sales experience.
Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors and co-workers
Outside sales, marketing or customer service experience required.
Possess the attitude necessary for skillfully asking for blood drives and handling rejection, when given by groups, with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Possess the aptitude for continued skill development
Possess a satisfactory driving record.
