The Greer Group is recruiting a Front Desk Intake Coordinator for our client in Raleigh, This is a temporary position through June, with the possibility of being further extended. We are seeking a compassionate and organized Front Desk Intake Person to join our team. The Front Desk Intake Person plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance from our social services office. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, conducting initial intake assessments, and connecting clients with the appropriate resources and support services. Responsibilities:
Greet and Assist Clients: Welcome clients to the social services office with empathy and professionalism. Provide a warm and supportive environment for individuals seeking assistance.
Conduct Intake Assessments: Collect essential information from clients to assess their needs and determine eligibility for social services programs. Ensure all required forms and documentation are completed accurately.
Provide Information and Referrals: Offer information about available services and programs to clients. Assist clients in accessing resources and making appropriate referrals to internal programs or external agencies as needed.
Maintain Records: Accurately input client information into databases and maintain confidential client files. Ensure all documentation is organized and up-to-date.
Answer Inquiries: Respond to inquiries from clients, staff, and community members via phone, email, and in-person. Provide accurate information and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
Assist with Administrative Tasks: Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence. Assist with office organization and ensure the front desk area is clean and presentable.
Adhere to Policies and Procedures: Follow established policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
