The Greer Group is recruiting an IT Business Analyst for a client in Raleigh, NC.
This is a project position for one year.

Job Description:
Assist with the implementation of technology solutions.
This IT Business Analyst must be very well organized and able to support technical, business, test and training project teams and tasks.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and skilled at facilitating process re-engineering, creating system and business process documentation and identifying areas of improvement.
Communicate individual roles and project expectations for program area team members, provide work direction and leadership to assigned project tasks including sub projects and at times, individual project members; including scheduling, assignment of work and review of project efforts.
Expected to review and have working knowledge of the department`s business flow and RFP vendor selection process to ensure successful contract negotiations.
Responsible for understanding the contract to ensure vendor implementation and product meets contract requirements.
Complete weekly status reports to the Program Manager and Project Manager with immediate notification of all critical project issues or risk.
Proven experience analyzing business practices and recommending technology and business process improvements to enhance efficiency, improve workflow and solve problems.
Demonstrated proficiency understanding and articulating the customer`s strategic direction and recommending technology solutions and business processes that align with that direction.
Success identifying and implementing technical solutions (tools and applications) and non-technical solutions (business process re-engineering).
information technology concepts and terminology with a diverse group of end users, including County senior leadership, IT technical staff, non-technical staff, and vendors.
Ability and willingness to collaborate with the System Administrator to identify best practices and develop documentation to support the system/application.
Ability to assist the program area with implementing new technology, including coordinating, scheduling, and conducting user training.
Ability to develop and execute test plans/cases.
Ability to modify existing and/or create new documentation for ongoing application support.
Proven ability to become a subject matter expert of functional business processes.
Facilitate the completion of task(s) assigned to the program area to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
Experience organizing meetings, maintaining project plans, status reports; providing feedback on standards and approaches to the work.
Ability to deliver a high level of customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously without impact to quality of work.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
Four years` extensive experience performing business systems analysis in the support of automated business processes and systems.
Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Project and Visio.
Experience working with Human Services and/or related government, non-profit programs.
Complete a background check and drug screen.
