The Greer Group is seeking a Learning Specialist for a Morrisville, NC company. This is a temp to hire position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the selection and contracting of company seminars, workshops, conferences, and online CPE offerings
Ensure programs meet company quality standards and are in compliance with Continuing Professional Education (CPE) rules and regulations
Serve as a staff liaison to specific committees (both technical and non-technical) to achieve their identified goals
Foster and maintain relationships with new and existing subject matter experts (speakers, vendors, and content developers), and members to understand educational needs in order to select and deliver the highest quality continuing education programs
Assist with the identification of target markets for CPE content by helping to create customer profiles, data analytics, marketing strategies, potential program partners, etc
Provide pre- and post-event administrative support, data management, and correspondence including generating, creating, and/or proofing documents, such as:
Preparation of speaker and vendor correspondence, speaker biographies and session descriptions for programs, Committee work (agendas, meeting logistics, action plans, etc.), Review/proof brochures, e-promotions, and other CPE-related marketing, liaison with Meetings & Logistics team on event requirements, review historical data, including but not limited to, vendor information, financial data, evaluations, etc., for use in program growth and improvement
In-state travel required for training, member/vendor visits, and in-person events. Some out-of-state travel may be requested for training and networking opportunities. (10-15%)

Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook); and Database (Customer Record Management, Learning Management System)
Understanding of the adult continuing education market
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including competency in data and financial analysis
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in project management, curriculum planning, or association work, preferably within training and development setting.
Bachelors or Associate Degree in business, education, or related fields preferred.
