The Greer Group is looking for Experienced Material Handlers for our Manufacturing Client in Kings Mountain, NC$16/hour paid weekly Description:
Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution Prior experience operating fork trucks or other powered industrial vehicles. Upon hire, must pass forklift examination and operate forklift in a safe manner. Proficiency in inventory transaction integrity Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Windows-based software Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship No relocation is available for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Kings Mountain, NC facility will be considered Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with the following software is helpful: Excel, Oracle, FCS, WMS, Premium Freight Database, UPS Website and Outlook Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly operation preferred Good problem-solving skills Strong verbal communication skills Strong teamwork skills Good attention to detail Able to follow-through on assigned tasks Position Criteria: Able to lift up to 40 lbs. On a regular basis Able to stand and walk

d. What are the top 5 daily responsibilities? Operate a forklift to drive material routes to maintain proper flow, distribution, and accuracy of materials and supplies in the Clutch Assembly area. Validate and verify material and quantities for all parts; escalate inventory discrepancy concerns to supervisor. Assist during changeover preparation by communicating with Operators/Lead and pulling materials ahead of changeover activities e. What are ideal “ Soft Skills’ that the candidate should possess? 1.
