This is a temporary to permanent position.
Input donor/prospect information and daily gift deposits into Raiser`s Edge database.
Balance daily deposits to bank deposit, print Daily Gift reports for Philanthropy staff and Finance Office.
Produce all monthly reports for the Finance Department to reconcile both cash gifts and pledges.
Input all honor/memorial tribute records, obituaries, patient death and family member records, and produce acknowledgment letters to families who list us as the beneficiary of memorials in the obituary.
Collect and process online and credit card donations; maintain security of donor credit card information.
Process all pledge forms, matching gifts and workplace giving donations, and monitor completion and process and receipt of gifts.
Ensure gifts from all donors receive a thank you letter within three business days, are signed by the right person, envelopes are stuffed, sealed and stamped and delivered to the Post Office when agency box is full.
Upload acknowledgement letters into Raiser`s Edge database program, and update text for current letters on a regular basis.
Coordinate thank you calls to each donor utilizing the daily gift reports, assign Philanthropy staff members to specific donors for calls, enter contacts in the database, and produce weekly and monthly contact reports from the Raiser`s Edge database.
Produce Tribute cards for all memorial gifts and mail daily.
Code each donor record with the date the Tribute cards are mailed.
Send weekly reports of memorial donations to family members and upon request from family members as needed.
Assist with events planned by the agency and Philanthropy department as needed.
Answer calls as needed to promote a helpful and responsive relationship with the public.
Offer administrative coordination and assistance to Philanthropy team as needed.
Minimum of Associate`s Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
Prior experience in systems/database management, preferably Raiser`s Edge.
Experience in the prospect management process.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to create reports, graphs, and charts as needed.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate.
Consistently meet schedules, prioritize multiple tasks appropriately, demonstrate minimal use of work time for personal issues.
Complete a background check and drug screen.
