The Greer Group is looking to add to our team! We are currently in need of a Regional Recruiter for the Hickory, Statesville, Charlotte area of NC.

This position will be responsible for recruiting and managing temp workforce for various clients in a 2 hour radius of Charlotte, NC.

The Greer Group has been one of the fastest growing staffing companies in the Raleigh/Durham area. We have clients who need us to assist in other locations through out North Carolina. We are looking for a Recruiter that enjoys working within a diverse client base, including manufacturing. This position, for now, will be working from a home office. The ability to travel to our client locations is a must! Most travel is daily and not overnight.

The Greer Group provides excellent customer service to our Clients and Employees. This position is for someone who is very flexible, has strong detail ability and is self motivated.
Some of the duties are:
Sourcing and scheduling of applicants.
Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
Staffing / hiring decisions
Managing the application process along with New Hire on-boarding paperwork.
Managing the drug and background screening of applicants. This includes following internal screening processes and 3rd party external vendor processes to ensure costs are kept down.
Ensure that all information is accurate for reporting purposes in internal database AND 3rd party site.
Participate in the management and engagement of the temporary employees.
Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
Will handle employment related issues, interact with both employees, managers and corp office.

Requirements:
Must have at least 1-2 years of recruiting experience.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
College degree preferred.
Ability to do quick and accurate data entry in multiple systems.
Be able to multitask and work in an extremely fast paced environments.
Ability to manage processes and people in varying stages of the process.
Extremely organized, detail oriented and the ability to also see the big picture.
