Resident Life Coordinator
The Greer Group is seeking a Resident Life/Activities Coordinator for an upscale retirement home. This is a temporary position with the possibility to go perm. The position is located in Pittsboro, NC.
Resident Life Coordinator position will assist in leading independent living residents in social activities and mental stimulation through daily events and programs
Assist with setup and tear downs for room events, including AV needs
Assist with the day-to-day social, educational, recreational, spiritual and group activities
Create and design documents, including but not limited to flyers
Assists Director with the planning and production of the monthly calendar, newsletter and weekly updates, publicizing programs for residents and staff.
Promote events in person when in discussion with residents in case there is interest.
Send event work orders to maintenance for set up, housekeeping for clean up, and dining of requests for beverages, food/snacks, tablecloths, etc
The high energy individual will assist permanent Resident Life Coordinator in fulfilling one of the most important roles in community.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate or Bachelor`s Degree strongly preferred
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Word) required
Experience in recreation and activities preferred
Must possess patience and understanding of the elderly; sense of imagination and creativity.
Pleasant, professional and personal manner.
Current state driver`s license
Willingness to work shifts assigned - occasional weekends required
