Customer Service Representative

This is a temporary position through August.
Full time hours, Monday - Friday.
Provides support for clerical, administrative, and program-related activities and related work as required.
Duties include providing administrative support for Solid Waste Services, the Animal Center, the Water Quality Division, and the Environmental Health & Safety Division, and may extend to answering calls.
The CSR also assists with applications/site plans for individual wells and obtains permit files, answers basic customer questions, and/or assesses customer need and connects customers to relevant personnel.
Enters data into program and uses multiple business flow processes.
May provide initial assessment of applications and plan submittals for completeness and print maps using the GIS-based IMAPS program.
Prefer candidates that are detailed oriented, have the ability to work in an environment with interruptions, and be responsive to all customers.
Must obtain a college degree and one year experience in clerical work or customer service.
Spanish language skills are a plus.
Complete a background check and drug screen.
