File/Data Entry Clerk

The Greer Group is recruiting a File Clerk for a local law firm in Raleigh, NC.
This is a long term temporary position, with the possibility to become permanent.
- Performs a variety of filing, scanning and document transmittal duties.
- Ensures that files are easily accessible to legal and non-legal staff members by retrieving and transporting files as requested.
- Preparing records for archiving.
- Assist with audits.
- Various other duties as requested.
- Complete a background check and drug screen.
- Good keyboarding skills.
- Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of office filing experience in a high-volume environment.
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
- The employee frequently required to walk and sit, as well as to lift and carry objects such as books and files weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Data entry tests are REQUIRED to be taken for submittal.
