This is a temporary position through May, with the possibility to be extended.
Install and update election software on 200+ laptops.
Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, peripheral, and Windows issues.
Prepare peripherals for dispatch to voting locations (printers, barcode scanners, mice, keyboard) including packing and custody control.
Provide on-site and telephone technical support to voting locations during voting periods.
Assist in reconciliation after elections.
Assist with set up and breakdown of equipment and supplies at all early voting sites across the county.
Complete a background check and drug screen.
Significant overtime is required, must be able to work evenings and weekends!
Must be able to sit and stand for at least two hours.
Must have STRONG knowledge of Windows 7 OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Data tests required in order to be submitted.
Must be comfortable working in VARIOUS roles which may include physical labor, light tech support, site setup and equipment assembly, supply inventory general office tasks and other supporting roles.
Prefer candidates with college degrees.
