TNT Mechanics are required to have their own tools. There are multiple positions open in TNT and some of them will be on nights.
Maintain (preventative and corrective maintenance) of assigned fully armored vehicle (FAV), light armored vehicles (LAV), and Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles
Establish and implement maintenance plans
Carry out repairs to FAV/LAV/MRAP vehicles
Maintain records of all maintenance
Ensure that all repairss meet approved specficiations
Ensure that all ballistic glass is procured from DS approved manufacturers
Ensure all necessary replacement parts, equipment and fluids are accounted for
Ensure proper disposal of all waste, damage or defective parts
Word to ensure adequate inventory
Demonstrated technical, automotive, and mechanical competency
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment and long hours
Exercise sound judgment in all areas of responsibility
2-5 years` experience in maintenance of FAV/LAV/MRAP ASE) for the equipment/system or vehicle assigned.

Automotive workers at this level make repairs which often require them to work in tiring, awkward, and uncomfortable positions. They frequently stand for long periods of time, bend stoop, crawl under vehicles, and make repairs in other tight spaces. They frequently lift, handle, and carry parts and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. Occasionally, they move moderately heavy items with assistance or with mechanical devices, including objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds.
