Overview:
The Greer Group is seeking a Project Development Analyst I for a local Insurance firm. This is a temp to hire position and the need is immediate. General Definition:
To provide administrative, analytical and technical support to management personnel. To acquire knowledge in the analysis, development and coordination of user-oriented testing in order to implement new computer systems, new software applications as well as enhancements to existing computer systems and/or software.

Responsibilities:
Acquire knowledge in the development, coordination, execution and successful implementation of all applicable phases of testing for both new and existing computer systems.
Acquire knowledge in the creation, analysis and updating of rating and/or control tables for new and existing computer systems.
Assigning priorities of test cases during the applicable phases of testing for new/existing computer systems as well as new/existing software applications.
Become exposed to the development and projection of a project time line.
Identify the business areas to be tested for all applicable phases of testing, and in preparing a comprehensive list of test cases.
Participate in conducting test orientation meetings with test team members, developers and programmers.
Participate and acquire skills in the preparation and delivery of oral presentations.
Tracking and reporting process of test case completion, as well as in the tracking, reporting and status of problems reported to Information Systems and outside vendors.
Work with Information Systems as necessary to ensure that data is stored and updated accurately in appropriate database tables, through online updates and/or interfaces.
Acquire knowledge in the study of statistical plans in order to help determine the proper codes for stat reports; document the proper stat codes and coordinate the implementation of these codes for new and existing computer systems.
Attend, coordinate or chair meetings, as deemed necessary.
Provide both short term and long-term assistance to managers and supervisors. Qualifications:
Four-year degree or comparable work experience.
Prefer successful completion of INS-21, AIT-131 or CPCU-1.
Experience in effective writing preferred.
Familiarity with PMS/Client/Pay/Rec/Point IN/Agency Link processing system preferred.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Independent work habits.
Ability to analyze and categorize data.
