• MIG welding - mostly rare stick welding.
• Fabricate items from drawings and listen and follow verbal directions.
• Punch, shear, cut, grind, MIG weld light gage mild steel components.
• Main focus of position is to cut down damaged pallet rack uprights and re-weld a new footplate on.
• Other projects include fabricating columns and beams for small industrial platforms.
• Maintain fabrication area cleaning as needed.

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years welding experience mandatory.
• Proof of forklift training within 2 years required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Successfully complete a NC background check and drug screen.
• Self-starter.
• Problem solver.
