The Greer Group is recruiting for a 2 Day ONLY Voting Project! This is a great way to assist with Wake County Elections! Monday March 2 is from 1: 30 PM –8: 00 PM. This day has driving and driving assistant positions. Tuesday March 3 is from 5: 15 PM –12: 00 AM (typically ends earlier). This day has driving and driving assistant positions.
Drive rental truck to one of 6 remote location sites.
Setup remote location with signs according to supervisor instructions.
Distribute pollbooks and laptops at assigned remote location site (Monday).
Unload supplies from Officials’cars and organize inside moving truck as instructed by supervisor (Tuesday).
Complete a Chain of Custody Checklist for each Official to ensure proper supplies are being distributed and returned.
Keep in contact with supervisor as instructed (iPhone will be issued).
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
iPhone proficiency preferred.
Return to BOE Operations Center with supplies to unload rental trucks.
Unload and organize supplies according to supervisor instructions.
Cannot make any stops for food or restrooms while driving rental trucks.
Restroom facilities available only at BOE Operations Center.
Job Requirements
All positions require a background check, drug screen, and that you have a valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable sitting and standing for long periods of time.
Must be comfortable with being outside.
For Monday and Tuesday, must be comfortable driving a small box truck!
