Job Description
The Greer Group is looking for a Full Time Fabricator/Maintenance Tech to join our team in Mebane, NC for a 6 month assignment.
1st shift - 6 month assignment$29.50-30.25/hour based on experience. Paid weekly!
Job Description:The Fabricator will perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to, fabricating steel and aluminum parts by hand, using shop equipment, and assembling parts from various materials. The Fabricator will also be responsible for maintaining the quality of workmanship and procedures in the production process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Fabricate parts by hand using shop equipment such as a plasma cutter, drill press, and other related tools.
· Use shop equipment such as an air-handy bed, plasma cutter, drill press, and other related tools.
· Use assembly tools such as a nail gun, hand tools, and hand-held jig to assemble parts from various materials.
· Clean work areas after each shift.
· Work with other departments to ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
· Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to maintain the quality of production.
· Perform minor repairs on machinery and tools when necessary.
· Perform duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
