The Greer Group is recruiting a Bilingual Patient Access Representative for our client in Raleigh, NC.This is a temporary position through December, with the possibility to be further extended!
Essential functions:
  • Primarily works at the front desk in the Child Health Clinic.  
  • This position is the first point of contact and values Customer Service, quality care and teamwork.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team achieving patient/client outcomes and goals.
  • Reception duties including customer service, register, providing clerical support and information to the public.
  • Review, prepare, verify, complete and record demographic information in the patient management system.
  • Collects payments, update insurance eligibility information, and verify income as needed.
  • Ability to communicate, answer phones, listen, and value teamwork.
  • Ability to maintain composure while assisting a high volume of demanding clientele.
  • Responsible for providing administrative coverage at the front desk of the Child Health clinic. 
  • This position is also required to provide client registration and EMR preparations, schedule appointments, greet and assist the public by inputting patient registration and directing the patient to the appropriate facilities, answering and triaging all incoming calls on multiple lines, taking payments from clients for clinical services, and preparing the daily deposit. 
  • The position is located within a fast-paced public health clinic and works with a diverse patient population. 
  • The Patient Access Representative is expected to be a team player and produce quality work. 
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties and pay close attention to detail. 

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Complete a background check.
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
