Job Description

The Greer Group is Hiring Fabricators/ Paint Line operators for our Manufacturing Client in Fayetteville! These are Temp to Hire positions! 
2nd Shift: $16/hour
Description:•Perform work from manufacturing information, bills of material, written and/or oral instructions.
•Utilize manufacturing information, determine necessary parts/inventory, jigs/fixtures, and obtain materials from stock areas.
•Provide assistance to higher-level sheet metal fabricators / operators in performance of their duties as required.
•Deliver material to/from workstations using material handling equipment, position work material on coil cradle / feeder. Ensure correct parts and matching documentation reach next process in a timely fashion. Complete necessary preparation work such as wiping, degreasing, de-burring, or grinding of components.
•Pick up and place scrap in appropriate containers. Documentation / record-keeping may be required.
•operate spot-welders, punch presses and other metal-fabrication equipment as directed. Inspect parts periodically or as directed utilizing manufacturing information such as drawings / blueprints, make necessary adjustments as required. Keep accurate piece count and other applicable records.
• Apply powder paint and shear various types of material to proper size. Inform Supervisor of any quality problems.

Job Requirements


  • Sufficient proficiency with precision-measuring equipment such as but not limited to calipers, tape measures, micrometers, etc…Hand tools will be utilized such as screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, drills, grinders, portable bandsaws, files, power hand tools, drill presses, air-driven hand tools, etc.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with drawings and/or blueprints.
  • Demonstrated proficiency if general operation and troubleshooting of the equipment.
  • Know and follow established job specific and facility wide health and safety procedures and rules.
  • Bring health and safety issues, unsafe acts and safety suggestions to management's attention or correct those they can.
  • Pass a Background check and drug test.
