Job Description

The Greer Group is seeking a Finance Elections Assistant for our client in Raleigh.This is a long term temporary position through November 2024!
Monday –Friday, 8: 30 AM –5: 15 PM with evening and weekend overtime required during election season (can be a 50-60 hour work week).
  • This position will assist with administrative tasks for various teams. 
  • Position involves complex level of office support by assisting with planning, organizing, and coordinating day-to-day election activities.
  • Customer service (in-person, telephone, email).
  • Assist teams as needed such as training, staffing, finance.
  • Assist at election-related events.
  • Other clerical duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work a full day and must be able to work up to 50-60 hour work week (including some weekends) during election season.
  • Proficient data entry skills - data entry tests required for consideration. 
  • Comfortable working in various roles which may include light labor, general office tasks, and supporting roles.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills (filing, checklists, timelines)
  • Complete a background check and drug screen.
  • Obtain a valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
  • Prefer candidates that obtain a college degree.
