Job Description

The Greer Group is recruiting for an IT Site Support Engineer for our Client located in Roxboro, NC! This is a Temp to Hire position. Hours are 8: 00 AM-5: 00 pm (Monday-Friday). 
Pay: $28.00-$31.00 Depending on Experience. 
  • Incident / Request ticket resolution to SLA through global Service Desk.  
  • Maintain KB articles as relevant to ticket resolution and research completed.  
  • Operating local infrastructure in line with global standards and in cooperation with global support teams.
  • Operation of local site in line with ITCC.  
  • Monitoring, Maintenance and Life Cycle management of Network infrastructure.
  • Monitoring, Maintenance and Life Cycle management of Server and Database infrastructure.
  • Training end users in internal standards, global ways of working and security awareness.
  • Staging and Deployment of end user devices (laptop, desktop, mobile phone).
  • Maintain 100% compliance with Software licensing at supported location/locations.  
  • Administration of logon accounts where automated provisioning processes do not exist.  
  • Management of applications / equipment not under global support process.
  • Local data backup and recovery management.
  • Local operational costs management, such as telephony, maintenance contracts  
  • Refer any request for IT products that fall outside of defined standards to IT Manager  and assist with request process into Build Function hopper process  
  • Responsible for communicating when there is an issue affecting the Environment, Health, Safety or Quality to his/her respective Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Must pass a Background Check and Drug screen
  • High level of customer support as you will be dealing with high end clients and Plant Director. 
  • Experience in Microsoft Shop (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Certification in Microsoft is a plus. 
  • Show proof of Education (Relevant Degree or Equivalent experience). 
  • Experience in the Manufacturing environment. (rf scanners, printers).
