The Greer Group has a direct hire opportunity available in the High Point area. The Inside Sales & Product Specialist is responsible for driving sales through effective customer engagement, product knowledge, and order management. This role supports external sales teams, dealers, and customers by providing product recommendations, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless sales experience. The specialist also plays a key role in educating customers on product offerings and identifying opportunities to increase sales. Pay Rate:$50, 000 - $60, 000 per year, based on experience
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound sales inquiries and customer requests.
Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their needs and application requirements.
Prepare and deliver sales quotes, proposals, and product specifications.
Follow up on leads, quotes, and opportunities to close sales and meet targets.
Maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and end-users to drive customer loyalty.
Product Knowledge & Consultation
Provide in-depth technical product information and recommendations to customers.
Educate customers and internal teams on product features, benefits, and applications.
Stay up to date on product portfolio, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Assist in product demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions as needed.
Order Management & Processing
Process customer orders accurately in the ERP/CRM system.
Verify pricing, product availability, and lead times before confirming orders.
Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Sales Support & Reporting
Support the external sales team with data, reports, and customer insights.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and order history.
Assist in developing sales strategies, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required;associate or bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 2+ years in inside sales, customer service, or a related sales support role, preferably in a technical or industrial sales environment.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of construction equipment, hydraulic systems, or heavy machinery is a plus.

Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in B2B sales within the construction, heavy equipment, or manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of sales pipeline management and lead generation.
Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish or English/French) are a plus.
