Job Description

Now Hiring! Are you looking for stable and meaningful work? We have openings for sewing machine operators (no experience needed) to help manufacture military-grade parachutes used by the US Armed Forces. Be a part of a team that takes pride in precision, quality and craftmanship! 
Shift: 6: 30 am - 5: 00 pm, Monday - ThursdayPay: $16 with opportunities for pay increases after permanent hire and skill growth
What You'll Do:
As a Sewing Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in assembling parachutes to military specifications. Tasks may include:

  • Operating industrial sewing machines with precision and care

  • Following detailed work instructions (MWIs) and inspection checklists

  • Performing hand stitching and assembly work as needed

  • Inspecting products to ensure top-level quality and safety

  • Keeping a clean and organized work area

  • You may also assist with cutting, marking, repairing, or other production functions depending on company needs.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Must meet near vision requirement of Snellan 14/18 (20/30) and be capable of adequately distinguishing and differentiating colors used in the process or activity being performed.
  • Sit or stand or variation of both for duration of the shift. 
  • Use hand and arms to reach, feel or handle materials.
  • Ability to perform jobs using repetitive motion.
