The Greer Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled night shift Machine Operator for our manufacturing client located in Louisburg, NC! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that products are checked for quality. This position requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively.
Temp to Hire! Shift Times: Monday-Thursday 6: 00pm-6: 00am Pay: $18.15/hour (only for 2nd shift due to the shift differential) Duties
Operate and maintain various machines including precision measuring tools, ovens, kneaders, and winders.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to verify dimensions and ensure compliance with production standards.
Conduct precision measurements and quality checks using appropriate measuring tools to ensure product specifications are met.
Set up machines and adjust controls to regulate parameters such as temperature, pressure, and speed according to production guidelines.
Monitor machine operations and identify any issues or malfunctions;report and troubleshoot as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and industry standards.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively regarding production goals and machine performance.

High school diploma or equivalent;technical certification or apprenticeship program is a plus!
Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools and machinery operation.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Basic mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prioritize safety and follow established safety protocols.
Requirements:
Requires standing for extended periods, using hand tools, and performing repetitive movements.
Ok with working in non temp controlled environments. Summer months tend to get hot in the plant.
