The Greer Group has an exciting new temp-to-hire position open for experienced Press Operators to support a busy Molding Department in the Canton, NC area. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to grow their manufacturing career with a stable company offering consistent hours and overtime opportunities.
Shift: Monday –Thursday, 7: 00 PM –7: 30 AM Pay: $22.00/hour Overtime: Time and a half paid after 40 hours worked What You Will Do:
Inspect, assemble, label, and pack parts according to work instructions.
Record production and scrap information accurately.
Maintain production standards and quality expectations.
Keep workstations clean and organized.
Notify supervisors or leads of unresolved equipment or product issues.
Follow all plant safety and environmental policies and procedures.
What You Need to Be Successful:
High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
Minimum of 12 months of manufacturing or related experience.
Ability to access information on a computer.
Experience using or ability to learn a labeling scan gun.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
