The Greer Group is recruiting for a Direct Hire Supervisor! This is a great opportunity for our client located on the outskirts of Raleigh, NC! Anything over 45 hours, you will receive a bonus! Pay: 55, 000-65, 000/ Year. Monday-Thursday (12 hour shift). With possible over time on friday! 6: 00 pm- 6: 00 am or 6: 00 am-6: 00 pm. Job duties and Responsibilities
Setting and adjusting all mechanical, pneumatic, and thermal controls for the production line.
Knowledge about the mixing process, extruder, and ovens
Ability to analyze problems and skill with solving mechanical problems
Supervise changing, and cleaning the molds and setting up the press stations
Ensure accurate and adequate communication between Management team and Employees.
Ensure success of on-the-job training, directing trainers and trainees, facilitating completion and recordkeeping tasks.
Document, decipher, and implement continuous improvement methodology.
Determine workforce needs, and schedule labor efficiently within workforce budget restrictions.
Control quality of product during manufacturing process.
Ensure a safe work environment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Safety awareness and understanding of all safety policies and procedures
Proficient knowledge of product based formulas and making modifications in production when necessary.
Capability of identifying production problems and resolving conflicts.
Ability to manage associates, provide the opportunity for training and advancement.
Ability required for calculating production planning and prioritizing orders.
Capable of implementing cost saving projects to improve the bottom line.
Computer literate and the ability to develop safety documents for production and update HRIS as needed.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiarity with weighing material according to SOPs.
Knowledge of Metric system
Awareness of General Housekeeping techniques.
Ability in handling small mechanical problems.
Process troubleshooting for quality defects.
Capability to manage electrical power interruption and start-ups.
Proficient knowledge of product based formulas and making modifications in production when necessary.
Capability of identifying production problems and resolving conflicts.
Ability to manage associates, provide the opportunity for training and advancement.
Ability required for calculating production planning and prioritizing orders.
Capable of implementing cost saving projects to improve the bottom line.
Computer literate and the ability to develop safety documents for production and update HRIS as needed.
