The Greer Group is recruiting a Senior Accounting Technician for our client in Raleigh. This is a temp to hire position! In office, Monday –Friday, 8: 30 AM –5: 15 PM. This department manages the planning, design, and construction of all capital improvement projects. Projects span the spectrum from building renovations and site improvements to large, complicated building and campus site development projects.
Understand, interpret, and apply the laws and regulations pertaining to financial payments.
Prepare financial reports and analyze financial statements.
Present financial information clearly and concisely in oral and written form.
Research, identify, and resolve discrepancies in accounting transactions.
Manage multiple projects and a heavy workload.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Be patient and provide clear thinking in times of stress.
Comfortable with heavy data entry duties.
Job Requirements
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe Professional, Outlook, and Office 365.
Attention to detail and a motivated self starter is preferred!
Must obtain a High School Diploma or GED.
Three years of job related experience.
General working knowledge of accounting methods, procedures, and accounting practices.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
