The Greer Group is seeking a Social Worker for our community service client located in Raleigh. This is a part time (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8: 30-5: 15PM) and temporary position, with the possibility to be extended. Job Description:
Provide intensive case management to residents including assessing for needs, identifying housing barriers, addressing mental health and/or substance use needs and supports, and connecting residents with the appropriate resources.
Develop individualized housing stability plans for each resident and monitor progress towards achieving their goals.
Facilitate groups that are available to residents.
Orient new residents to the program and assists with addressing incidents as they arise.
Maintains required data and HMIS documentation on all cases.
Assist Housing Support Specialists with weekly room checks.
Job Requirements
The Basics:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
One year of job-related experience
Valid Driver’s License and “safe” driving record
Beyond the Basics:
Master’s degree in social work
Experience working in residential settings
2 years of experience with case management services, housing, and homeless population
