The Greer Group is looking for a dependable Warehouse Forklift Operator / Fulfillment & Delivery Support team member. This role combines warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and local deliveries to the Asheville area. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys a mix of warehouse and driving responsibilities. Hours: Monday - Friday 8: 00 am - 5: 00 pmPay: $19 - $22 per hour - depending on experience. Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts (sit-down or stand-up) to move and organize materials within the warehouse
Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
Assist with picking, packing, and staging orders for delivery
Perform local deliveries to customer locations using company vehicle in a safe and timely manner
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
Keep warehouse organized and clean to ensure efficient operations
Conduct routine equipment and vehicle checks
Follow all safety and transportation regulations
Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Previous experience operating forklifts and working in a warehouse setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle repetitive physical tasks
Comfortable driving and making local deliveries
Good communication and customer service skills
Stage outgoing shipments, load trucks accurately and document in inventory management system
Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with local delivery driving
Knowledge of warehouse management systems
Familiarity with order fulfillment processes
Physical Demands:
Standing and walking for long periods
Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching
Operating heavy equipment and driving company vehicles
